Easter

For Easter this year we didn't end up doing a whole lot. We didn't go to the Easter egg hunt because the weather was bad, snowing and blowing. The Easter bunny did manage to find you though and brought you candy and some toys. You had fun picking up all your eggs. Grandma Tams work had their egg hunt the next weekend so we took you and you had fun running around trying to put as much in your basket as you could. I can only imagine what you will be like next year.

You have been saving up your money and we decided to buy you a trampoline and so we put that together on Easter as well. It took you awhile to figure out how to jump but now you are a pro and want to go outside all the time.

2nd Birthday

Well you had your 2nd birthday and we decided this year not to do a big party. We had grandma Karen over and Grandpa Lyle and Grandma Tam. We had tacos for dinner and then we had Dora the Explorer cake with ice cream. You got spoiled like usual. You got lots of clothes, books, blanket, and a purse with a wallet and cards. You sure are getting big and cant wait to meet your new little sister.

Wedding

Mommy's cousin Kaylee got married on March 13Th and you were asked to be a flower girl. You are not a big dress person so we got your dress early and practiced with you what you needed to do and how to walk in your dress. You ended up actually running all over the gym in your dress but you did manage to walk down the isle OK. No flowers got on the floor but we were glad that you at least walked. You looked so cute in your dress.

Getting so big

A lot has gone on since mommy last posted. You are running around the house like crazy now. You are trying to put more words together everyday and you are starting to watch cartoons. You love to help do the dishes, and clean (even when you think you are helping by pulling everything out that mom puts away). You are full of energy and there are days mom can not keep up. We talk to dad everyday on the computer via skype and love to see him. I think it makes the 2 weeks he is gone go by faster.

You are starting to really get the idea about your baby sister. You told me yesterday that you want to rock her when she gets here. They have a ban on the hospital that no little kids are allowed so hopefully by the time April comes you can come up there.

Your new favorite movie is UP. You can tell us what is coming up in every scene. You love to say "I Love You" and "Squirrel" like Dug does in the movie.

You are such a sweet little girl and we love you to death!!! Your 2ND birthday is next month and we are going to either do it Dora or Elmo. You are in love with those two at the moment.

Big Sister

You went to the doctor with mom and grandma eve yesterday and we found out that you are going to be a big sister to a little sister. We are going to have another little girl in the family and now daddy is really going to be out numbered. We are going to name her Addyson Nichole Eve. So now you both will have Mommy's name. You don't know yet what is really going on but you have started calling her AaAa for Addy. I think that you will be a big helper to mom when she gets here.

You have been climbing on things a lot and yesterday and today you were trying to get on the kitchen table and your foot slipped and you have bit your lip twice now. Both time they bled. I think this is your first big owie.

Santa

Well this year we have been tellin g you about Santa a little more so when we take you to get your pictures taken you hopefully will not cry. We have a stuffed one in the livving room and you talk to him all the time and give him loves. You have see the one in the mall a few times and always want to sit on his lap now and say "cheese". So when daddy gets home in a few weeks we are going to take you and get your picture taken.

Growing growing and growing

You are sure starting to be such a big girl. You are trying to talk a little better and love to play with your toys as long as someone will play with you. As of the first of October you got a new big girl bed and have been sleeping good in it. Mommy or daddy has to sleep with you till you fall asleep then we sneak out and you sleep until morning and come and get us.

You were a monkey for Halloween this year and loved it! Mommy was a little sick so grandma eve took you to a few houses and all you wanted to do was go to more.

You are starting to kinda get the idea that mommy has a baby in her tummy. You tell the baby hi and that you love it. Soon enough we will get to find out if it is a boy or a girl. You keep telling us that you want a sissy but I don't think you understand what we are asking you.

You just popped in another tooth so this now make number 11. They are coming slowly but the dentist says that is a good thing. You are still a big snacker and don't eat much at meals but hopefully soon enough you will start. You are still a very healthy little girl and haven't gotten sick yet.

You are learning to count and can count to 5 good and then to 10 it is hit and miss. We are working on your colors but everything is blue or purple.

You love your grandma and grandpas. You ask all the time where they are and we tell you the same thing over and over but you ask again.

You are starting to get in your terrible twos and throw little fits when you dont get your way. You have forgot to say please and thank you. We are also starting to have to dicipline you more.

In the next coming weeks we are going to start working on potty training you. Mommy doesnt know if she is ready for it but I think you are so we are going to give it a try. I hope to have it all done by the time your new brother or sister gets here.

You are such a joy in our lives and mommy and daddy love you very much!!!
